If you want to disable viewing through a turret then you could perhaps use one of the 'turret switching' circuits and feed the signals to a 'dead' turret, i.e. one that is just a base or is a small hidden turret (with no connected loader) facing a wall with no light, so that you get no view. Bit of a bodge but it's one way to perhaps solve the problem.
