Problem with mod downloads

Whenever my friends join my server, they have to download the same mods every time (and very slowly since it's from my client). Anyone know why this happens? It's pretty much always the same mods, even when we update it from the menu (plus all the random hash errors that pop up?)

They need to click "subscribe" so it doesn't download each time.

Either that or you don't have the same versions, which will cause it to download the exact same version as the hosts, from the hosts PC. Make sure both you and your friend go to your mods menu and update them all (and subscribe to them if you haven't).

They have everything subscribed and we all update our stuff before joining/hosting the server, so not entirely sure what I can do about this tbh. I've unsubbed and resubbed to the entire collection/list of mods and they still have the same problems (and it seems to be only my server and not others?)

You and your friend have to manually update the mods in the in-game mods menu.
