And I'm not sure how your internet service provider can stop you from hosting a dedicated server. Are they trying to block third party hosting or something? Anyway if you want to try a dedicated server you can host it on your own hardware which your ISP should have no say in. At least no more than you playing online games in the first place.
Requires port forwarding which my ISP does not allow and my "router" is unique which functions as both a modem / router.
Admin controls has 0 port forwarding options
Either way thanks for the tips, may help in a future game sessions
TL;DR If you're going to host, make sure you have a fast system and solid internet connection.
