Game-Breaking Wire Bug
I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue, as it makes wiring an impossibility. Before I begin, I have already tried the following:

Uninstalling all files to do with Barotrauma (Including in C:)
Removing any unused mods
Starting the game in vanilla after a clean install
Tested on a vanilla submarine

Essentially, wires become completely impossible to remove from whatever they are connected to. Disconnecting the wire on both ends of its connection simply seems to break the wire down the middle. This means that the wire is one-sided, there can be no connection made, the wire cannot be reconnected to both objects, and the wire can't be taken out of the object.
This has made wiring an essentially impossible task. This is happening in MP with very minimal mods (even vanilla). Electrician goggles don't help, nor do any of the debug menus or commands. I simply can't fathom a reason this happens, or what could be done to fix it. Any help would be amazingly appreciated.

I'm not sure if I understand what you're doing or what you're encountering.
When you remove the wire from the component end it should turn into an item. You're saying the wire stays on the wall but with both ends disconnected? Do you have a screenshot?

We start off with the wire going into the O2 generator's "Power In" node from the junction box's "Power" node. Grabbing the wire and disconnecting it from the node (The loose red wire is always there, as it is a glitched wire):

After disconnecting the wire, we can see that it properly labels the other end as connected to the "Power In" node of the O2 generator.

Disconnecting the other end of the wire from the O2 Generator's "Power In" node. This should allow me to grab that wire out of the menu and turn it into an item.

It is still clearly disconnected from both ends of the wire. This should be all that is needed to turn it into an item and drop it out of the menu.

It cannot be pulled out of the box.

With the connection made to the junction box's "Load Value Out" node, we have now lost the other end of the wire that should be inside of the O2 generator's menu. Alas, it is not there. Forming a bugged wire. This is constant.

I tried to make this as detailed and as easily understood as possible.

I suppose you could try pulling the sub into the sub editor with console commands. It might be a bit buggy so keep a back up of your save file. Then delete the wire from existence there. Or if not then a third party save editor.

How would one enter the sub editor mid mission? Even as the server host, I do not have the permission.

That is not a vanilla sub, you're wasting your time aboard.

No such bug exists in Barotrauma. This is only a design issue. Don't delete game files just because you boarded a botched submarine.

I am aware it's a modded submarine, but it has so far happened in two relatively recently made submarines at this point and a vanilla vessel I tested. Even if it was only the modded submarine, what would be the cause?

There is nothing I can add since you're not sharing details.
People who are new to Barotrauma click boxes in the editor that they don't understand, it causes things like this to happen.

I shared lots of details in my first reply, I'm not new to Barotrauma in any sense of the word. Also, this isn't happening in the editor, this is happening in game. I'm well aware of how wiring works in the editor, it honestly isn't a difficult system. Which is why it's all the more confusing.

In game you can use the debug menu (f3) to enablecheats and then editsubs. But in multiplayer the game is going to ask you for higher permission than you have. As the server owner... So unless someone has the answer to fix that then you'll have to save a copy of the sub.
Bring the copy to the sub editor. Which then you'll have to fix and add to your campaign as a new sub. Which you will then have to buy at an outpost.
Or use a third party save editor.

I'll give that a whirl and update the post when I do, thanks.
