Cant Find Items (bad clean up crew)

For some reason, when I command my crew to help 'clean up'; they are not very good at it.
Seems they completely skip noticing some items. For instance; they never see/ clean SwimSuits thrown on the floor. I always have to pick them up manually.

Also; my revolver ammo. Apparently I have tons of ammo owned. While my Captain is only carrying 10 ammo. I am missing ammo.
I looked all over my ship and I cant find it. I checked the floors pretty good. I checked the old crates. I checked all the storage lockers. Nothing. Very strange.
I was hoping the "clean up crew" could help auto-find my ammo items. But, to no avail.

Clean up (command for bots) will place items of certain types in lockers based on the locker designation, it might be worth your while looking at your sub in the editor to see which lockers are designated for what item types, and look on the wiki too for info on how bots will use these designations.

You can use the Status Monitor to find items.

Can't say I've had a problem with bots ignoring diving suits, they tend to put them away even without the clean up order. Bots have a task list which is usually known only to themselves (sometimes their current task is displayed next to their character name in the crew list). Make sure there are sufficient empty suit lockers and none have the 'ignore' hand symbol on them (or the suits).
