You put explosives (C-4) *into* the detonator.

did that i know i played for like 3 months the old barotrauma was a naughty boi when i press e i pick it up EVEN with a screwdriver and wire put it like the old game wrench to pick it up and screwdriver for wires

Have you attached/place it first by holding right mouse button and then clicking left, or just dropped it?

Rewiring (and detonating) works fine for me.

Tested again and it works well.

Did you install it on a wall like you do with components, or did you try wiring up the detonator item dropped on the ground? The latter won't work.

To install components on a wall, equip it, hold rmb, and click lmb.

just wondering when you place the detonator and put your mouse over it does it say like wrench and screwdriver if yes then the detonator of a ship is bugged if not its a problem

just worked out why the detonator is bugged just launched a singleplayer

but sometimes the detonator is bugged and says i have a wrench in my hand and i can pick it up even tough i didnt equip

Sometimes objects in older sub-files get messed up. Resetting them to prefab, or replacing it with a new one fixes it.
