Well a 'tick' looks like this -🗸- so find where it says "Require Oxygen Detectors" and click on it until this -🗸- goes away.
Let's start with the basics just to be sure we don't miss anything. Plus maybe it could teach you a thing or two in the process.
First of all, we could see if the sub does have what it takes for the monitor to receive air data. Maybe this could help. However I think option #2 is what you may be looking for:
1- See if the monitor is properly wired to oxygen detectors. It's possible that there's something else that's wired in-between those two, like a wifi component or a relay component. If your sub does not have oxygen detectors, you can't get air data. And of course, if the sub's creator forgot to wire them ( it happens ), you also won't get data. You should normally see a wire or a few wires connected in "oxygen_data_in" when you use your screwdriver on your status monitor. For each room you want oxygen data from, you need oxygen detectors to get feedback from them.
2- Now, another thing - Blue talks about this and will probably solve your problem - in the submarine editor, you can edit many of the submarine's properties. You can load the workshop submarine you downloaded and edit it yourself. Left click on the status monitor. This should make a properties window pop up. If you scroll down a bit, near the middle you should see "MINIMAP". There are checkboxes you can "untick" ( some will say "uncheck" ) by clicking on them. Remove the check mark next to "Require Oxygen Detectors". This should allow you to get air data in the entire submarine without relying on oxygen detectors. Some people like to rely on in-game mechanics to get air data, but some others find it too troublesome and prefer to remove this aspect entirely by "unticking" the oxygen detector requirement.
PS: I merged your two threads.
