why are the big rigs doors so ♥♥♥♥♥♥, opening and closing or never opening, needing to be completely rewired

It's a setting on the motion detectors. Normally the way the doors work is when they're opened they stay open as long as someone is near by it. But for some reason the ones on the big rig have a setting active that makes it so if there's no motion in a few seconds they close again and it ends up being really jank. if you keep your character moving when you go through it works fine but if you stand still for a sec it freaks out. The best solution is to connect a lever to force the door open, then you can access the motion censor at the top without it closing on you. Then click on it and change the delay setting to zero.
