Hey, I'm the one hosting the private server for Soapwater.
So we don't have lua, we're trying to enable a non-lua mod on dedicatedServer.exe
So far we have tried:
-Pasting the mod directory in-between <regular packages /> and </contentpackages> in Config_Plater.xml
-Changing the file names to the c:/ destination url for each file
-loading the mods from the LocalMods folder
-changing the file names to the %appdata% destination url for each file
-We tried using Lua, but loading it causes major crashes to the server
When not using Lua, the server boots up with no errors and we are able to connect, but no mods are loading.
not all mods are in LocalMods i have like 3 mod files i dont really know why. But again i cant help with manual stuff
edit 1: I just checked the internet for stuff about it to see what you guys saw. I saw the official wiki host thing and i did not do those when i was playing with friends + mods. you can just enable steam workshop mods from the ingame settings go to multiplayer press host open a server and there it is... mods.
edit 2: if you want i can still post step by step what i did guide
