Are Storage Containers waterproof?
I need to put some volatile materials in them, and place them in a Steel Cabinet.

ARe these cases waterproof, or will the contents react with water if the room gets flooded?

They are until you take them out of the container they are in.

The storage container is NOT watertight but the cabinets are.

Thank you both! I sleep easy now knowing my hard-earned materials don't blow up!

I don't know why the Wiki bothers listing some as waterproof and others not. I've never seen anything penetrate into a grey crate.

I had Sodium inside a Metal Crate (grey crate), while the crate was also inside the Deconstructor.

I was in the room when a giant leak flooded the room and an explosion happened in the deconstructor (which was the sodium reacting with water).

Metal crates are not waterproof, which is why I replaced them with Medical and Chemical crates (although it should be noted that they provide less space).

If you have a Unit load device on your submarine, you can puts crates in it so it's waterproof.
