morphine and fentanyl heal internal damages, blunt force trauma and burns,
blood packs and saline treat bloodloss
and liquid oxygenite is good when you don't have the time or skill to do CPR.
Bandages and blood packs wont heal internal damages and morphine wont stop bleeding.
Just be wary of side effects like antibiotics causing organ damage and morphine causing shortness of breath.
Bandages only affect the specified location, but something like morphine heals the whole body.

See also, page on morphine: https://barotraumagame.com/wiki/Morphine
Either way, all of those are considered "damage" in the .xml files. Internal damage is one subtype of damage (similar to how morbusine poisoning is a subtype of poison). The wiki-page should probably be moved, really...
Morphine: Cures nearly everything:).
Bandages: Clears up burns and bleeding.
Saline: Blood loss no longer.
Always have the above 3 on you at all times as a doctor, you can solve 90% of your cases with it. Some other useful drugs include,
Antidotes (If you don't have someone with poison, then don't worry about it.)
Stabilozine - Cures a surprising amount of poisons and drunkenness, cheap too.
Calyxanide - Calyx infestation treatment.
Haloperidol - Antipsychotic
Palmgranade Injection - If someone has high opiate overdose, try using this.
Naloxone - Anti opiate overdose medicine.
Anaparalyzant - You don't want to fight a thalamus without this.
Fentanyl - Just have enough in your syringe gun in the case that someone goes completely down and you can't really get to them due to enemies, this will save your friend in a tight squeeze.
As a medic, most reasonable people will assume you're a grade A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, more so than most. Don't be one. :) I suggest that you should always be ready to grab a suit. If there is a wreckage, you should elect to go in it with someone. If there is a nest, let them lead the way, if swarms are attacking your ship then stay in the safe parts until someone needs some help. Avoid large gatherings of crew or sketchy people with grenades in their pockets. If you can save people from that explosion they might just end up loving you. Don't go out of your way to be pseudo security unless the server is chaos and they really need it. Probably don't hoard guns in your cabinets, or eggs, or other such toxins. Just deconstruct them and turn them into something useful. Monitor your fellow doctors and make sure they aren't trying to make poison to use on your fellow crew, if you must have poison then do what you can to keep it out of their hands.
Everyone here summed things up pretty well. If you're like me and like numbers, check out "Barotrauma medical and stimulants guide, with tips and tricks" by "Ironic and Dead" on youtube, that guide's got some good info.
Note: The medical profession utilizes tons of different items, so people might not always have the optimal solution (or even *a* solution) to every affliction, (that includes people that write guides - and me.) so feel free to test things out. Also, i'd reccommend having the wikis close at hand.
Oh and, if like me, you end up having a mental breakdown over how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strong morphine injections are, use less powerful medical items such as pomegrenade extract and tonic liquid. And then, tell your patients to use the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beds as thease will heal people over time. Roleplay servers are great for this.
Good luck!
MFW its Dugong and there's no bed
