[IDEA] Ranked PvP matchmaking + War mode

An idea for a major PvP update for Barotrauma, to unleash its full potential...

Ranked PvP matchmaking

• Two teams of 20 players each, splitted in 4 submarines crewed by 5 players would fight at the Sub vs Sub gamemode. Coalition vs Separatists (or) Coalition vs Pirates (or) Separatists vs Pirates.
  
  
• Maximum pre-made teams of 5 players to fully crew a submarine.
  
  
• Option to choose a side or not.
  
  
• Not choosing a side gives 2x Rank bonuses, choosing a side gives 2x Loyality bonuses.

Ranked rating

• Rank is decided by victories or defeat at a battle. Winning increases +1, losing decreases -1.
  
  
• Each 5 victory points a player rises in rank.
  
  
• Possible ranks from worst to best: Pioneer > Shipmate > Veteran Shipmate > Lieutenant > Captain > Admiral > Great Admiral > Fleet Admiral
  
  
• Quitting a match makes you lose Ranked and Loyality points, but losing only makes you lose Ranked.
  
  
• Ranked level helps to put players next to their player level.
  
  
• Ranked unlocks a symbol and a title, shows next to character when hovering.

War mode

• A bar at main menu shows the percentage of how many victories a faction has won in Ranked. (Blue = Coalition / Orange = Separatists / Red = Pirates) during a season.
  
  
• On season end players are awarded Loyality points based on their performance and their factions %.
  
  
• Loyality gives unique titles (when hovering at character) and faction outfits based on their level.

Faction bonuses on Ranked matchmaking

• Coalition receive Autoshotguns and extra shotgun shells on their armories. They also have drones and grenades and ALOT of stun-based weapons and ammo.
  
  
• Separatists receive an abundance of explosives and a few 40mm mini-nukes for their rifles. They also get alot of incendium grenades and EMP grenades.
  
  
• Pirates receive friendly Husks AI that help defend their ship from intruders, and have a bit of both sides.
