Can't switch submarine - no vote

After I click change sub, it asks me if i want to change sub I press option "YES, Initiate vote", but nothing happens. I tried departing but when new mission loads there's same sub as before

Can't switch subs ont he terminal after the update in my multiplayer campaign.
Which is really annoying, Kestrel really requires more than 3 crew.

I have seen a thread with an issue sounding like that before. It was an already "old" / bought submarine you wanted to switch to?

I wanted to switch to the old boat (Azimuth) after the update to get my stuff, but it doesn't switch, the vote doesn't begin. Same with older boats, we have like 4, and none of them we can switch to. T_T

In the other thread it was something about version number of the submarines.

I am hoping that a more experienced Barotrauma player or even a developer can help you.

As last resort I would keep in mind that you could transfer your items via a save game editor. Worked well for me and my party when we were in a different situation where transferring items from one submarine to another would have been just a hassle.

I'm currently experiencing a similar issue. I'm able to switch between two workshop subs, but I'm unable to switch to the new Orca 2. I'm in a multiplayer server that I'm hosting myself, if that matters.

I've also had this problem with Orca 2, but in other threads people said it's about all subs.

Yep. in MP campaign switch sub function doens't work. Can't initiate a vote.

Same with me and my friends, cant switch subs if we only pressed purchase button.

We can only switch ships if we use the "purchase and switch" option at the sub store, meaning we cant go back to the other ships we own.

We can only switch ti new ships we dont yet own in the campaign

Until there is a confirmation from the developers in regards of the issue, and eventually a fix, maybe this can help you out with switching submarines. The result is ~ not as clean as I would like since you have to edit stuff ~ but it can still be helpful.
