Husk eggs impossible without radiation?

At the time of writing this i have 40 hours in game and i have yet to find any husk eggs and upon investigating i need to find abandoned outposts? i looked into this and apparently i need Jovian radiation or something which i think is turned off by default and i need that to make these places abandoned in order to hunt for husks to get their eggs, is there anyway to find them without having this radiation stuff turned on?

Kill husk or husk crawler or any other husk creature = easy to obtain husk eggs = loot husk corpse))
They just spawn not very often. Casual husks may spawn inside wrecks or beacons and finally inside allien ruins. Husk crawler may spawn as casual crawler and attack sub.

Finally for the husk main quest you can use calyx extract instead of raw eggs

People mentioned about some kind of extract stuff, is this some kind of glitch? or how do i do this?

Other than the "you do not need abandoned outposts" answer: They're also abandoned near hunting grounds, and you might see some readily-abandoned ones in later biomes.

So just keep moving right for a bit.

And you can also just buy it (colonies and research outposts).

Technically there's also the huskified storage container, but... that may take a while.

I know only one way to 100% garanty obtain abandoned outpost with husks inside. There are normally 6-8 husks and after a while(after one more event there) this number expands up to the ~10-12 species
(minor spolers) proceed at main huskcult quest and complete some kind of "Outpost rescue" mission.

Abandoned outposts become more common as you move further into the map, as well as husk crawler hordes (if you are lucky enough).
Husks are also more common in Beacon Stations and Wrecks now, due to the added variety.

Probably easiest way to have constant abandoned outpost is to find passage with abyssal creature and do outpost recovery mission there. As long as you don't deal with abyssal creature, recovered outpost will be abandoned once again soon enough.

So i basically need to sacrifice one of my crew members? cus surely if i shoot someone in an outpost i'll get in trouble plus i imagine it will take some time, cus i got a husk infection from being bitten but i went to cure it cus i didn't wanna die

You don't need to shoot anyone at outposts, you can just buy husk eggs and husk extract from merchants for money. Typically only merchants from the faction Church of the Husk sell that kind of stuff though, so you might need to check a few different stations.

The much more common way to get husk eggs is by killing husks you find in wrecks and beacon stations and looting their bodies for a chance to find their eggs. It's a lot less expensive than buying them, but the drop chance isn't that high and husks are rare so if you want to stockpile a lot of Calyxanide to cure husk infections then both buying and looting eggs is a good idea.

If you mean husking yourself? No, what? lol. Calyx Extract (aka husk eggs in a syringe) can be equiped and used as a weapon (slap injection) or most npcs you can just 'h' to open their health menu, and you can drag and drop the Calyx Extract on them as if it was medicine. Then you just wait for them to huskify.

You don't need to sacrifice any of your own people

1:28am lol as i'm responding, i gave it to this guy and i got this ( https://imgur.com/a/2m0DALO ) do i kill him now? or do i wait until security kills him or something? also won't using "H" and infecting them get me heavily negative rep from factions? uh so update, the husk has killed 2 people and is now coming for me, another update, he keeps healing and i can't get any eggs, wut is going on, i'm gonna post a video soon

I think the husk was for jailbreak missions, Husk someone, let security rush it into a room, then weld the door shut behind them so they can't get out once done killing the husk. Then you can lead the prisioners to your sub without issue.

You have to kill and loot 'g' husked enemies that spawn (ship wreaks, abandoned outposts, husked crawlers(random spawn)) if you're farming eggs

These have all been mentioned before by others. Or you can buy them (rarely) at certain outposts (also mentioned by others)

i infected someone in the photo shown then a video shown then he killed the security and another guy then came for me i killed him around 6 times and not only did he keep healing and get back up, i clicked G on him and it only had his normal gear which if i took would be stealing, if you didn't see the video's look at my second response AND second video, he keeps healing and on top of that no eggs at all, i think all you've done is lied to me and ruined my playthrough

No you don't get them from recently infected people, please read what everyone has been suggesting carefully and correctly.

Also I have no idea from OP/Thread Title that Jovian Radiation had any affect on what items show in game. It's a system to force you to progress through the campaign by essentially making an ever moving wall pushing you deeper.
