Running out of oxygen is not really a concern for bots. They do resupply on oxygen. Problem is more that they drop the old tank on the ground.
If bots running for suits is such a major issue, get PUCS for all of them. No need to run for a suit then.
i also cant set ai on cleanup because they move items to places i dont want them to. and ive had an assistant stuck on dugong having a seizure in the armory, i think he was trying to put or take items out of a locker he had no permission to open, or something like that, he was just stuck there and same happened to a medic i assigned to cleanup as well.
If you give at least one bot the command to fix leaks they'll jump to it instead of running around in a panic, same for defend the crew, fix electrical items, etc. Mechanics are far better at fixing leaks than other classes.
Maybe the cleanup command works for that, but bots love to disagree with me where things belong. Ignore command is a workaround, but imo not the best.
if you feel a displaced divingsuit can and will not stand under your command, you maybe will throw some tantrums on your way through the campaign.
try to set up AI commands according to the Tipps in this forum and dont care too much, thats what i am doin :) you could sprinkle in sime Roleplay, and only the "good" crewman get a medal ^^
Or you could just accept that this game is intended to be played with other people and if you're as terrified of social interaction as your bots are of water then don't expect a crew that has the decision-making capabilities of a human.
Nothing like having 0 ammo and not a single crew-member able to craft anything because they just joined AND be completely stuck in campaign because you literally can't move 10m away from the outpost without getting attacked by a bunch of monsters. All the outpost had for sale was 6 lousy revolver rounds, can't get to the others because of monsters. OOPS! guess I'll just delete my campaign progress again.
