Swarm Eggs

Anyone else having issues with the eggs? They penetrate my ship for some reason i feel like this has to be a bug i haven't played in awhile.

Anytime i get a mission to destroy a nest or a swarm they poop out eggs that spread out everywhere instantly sinking me and making it impossible for me to move if i try to move the eggs put 10-15 holes all over my sub even killing crew if they're hit.

anyone else having this problem? just seems to weird i just alt + f4 out at that point since its unplayable.

It's an ability of the Crawler Broodmother. She spits eggs at you. If you see them in the water, stay away from theym, they'll explode on impact.

Ye, the only dangerous eggs in vanilla are husk eggs (don't eat) and the crawler broodmother's eggs[barotraumagame.com] (explode on impact). Neither has anything to do with nest missions.

Don't let your sub get hit by the broodmother's eggs. Shoot with a coilgun if necessary. If possible, go and collect any still floating about after the fight.

i seen that you can pick them up as well.

i was thinking it was a glitch as the area just gets completely covered with them kinda trapping me.

is there any counter other than avoiding/picking up?

Kill the broodmother fast, and it won't cover the area is the only way to avoid. If you are already trapped by them, use exploding coilgun ammo to make way for your sub.

Kill broodmother first and try to stay above it so you don't get rained on with eggs.

Use coil gun shoot eggs. Kill broodmother
Then steal the eggs.

You can deconstruct the eggs into alien blood
Then add a little saline and make blood packs.
