How to connect the Status Monitor to the Navigation Terminal?

I feel like this is a dumb question, but I have completely my own submarine. Only thing I cannot figure out is how to get the minimap to show up as I am navigating the sub. I tried to reverse engineer it from the Dugong, but I don't see any wiring or different inputs to change.

I am sure it is simple, but I have been looking for days and nothing. Please help :)

Click on one then hold space and click on the other this will link them. It is the same thing as you do to link vents and the oxygen gen.

You will also need to click the little check box that says "Display Side By Side When Linked" while selecting your status monitor (it should be right under "Tags").

If you only click this on the status monitor then you will get the mini map while looking at navigation, but won't get the navigation screen when you only click on the mini map, I prefer this setup but if you want both screens to always show up then check the same box on the navigation terminal.

Like KnEe said: Select one of the objects you want to link then hold spacebar and click on the other item you want linked. Then select each item and check the box that says "display side by side when linked". Do it on both items. This also works when linking containers to crafting machines and some other displays.

Wow super easy, I checked for links on the Dugong and didn't see it. My bad, I see the purple line now. Cool, thanks everyone!

I have the problem that they are not linking with spacebar, and i have no idea why
