Multitool and why it needs further buffs

Pros: you don't need to carry screwdriver and wrench, as it replaces both;
Cons: can't be used as weapon, has no quality upgrades, requires mechanic with talent to be unlocked/crafted;

With how limited inventory space can be one extra slot can be pretty huge.

I check changelog, it has no updates past 1.6.13, even while ingame version is 1.6.16 or even higher.
