Achievement bug: Europa's finest

I was going for the achievement "europas finest".
i made sure it was a hosted server and Ironman mode.
however i did not receive the achievement for some reason. yes i restart multiple times when fighting jove, but when i beat him i didnt get it.
is there a certain criteria i have to meet or is it currently bugged? it would sound very exhausting if you had to play the campaign in one run.
i wish for clarification, thank you

Same, i tried it several times and couldn't get it. I tried everything.

Just in case.Double check your "iron man" and "permanent death" buttons ON (when server restarts or going back to lobby)

I just got the achievement, I had no problem using save backups up until the end where I closed the lobby right before entering The Eye and double checked that Permadeath was still active. ( If setup correctly, in the menu it will say that you can't use your save backups due to Ironman Mode. )

-edit It probably would've worked the first time but i don't think i had it setup correctly.
Permadeath + Ironman must be on upon completion.
