Mudraptors are supposed to be deadly for an unprepared when they burst into your sub in a massive swarm, that's why you shoot them with the big guns before they get inside. Once you can afford it, give all the bots Assault Rifles, they don't need toolbelts for repairing and defending the sub.
Also, outside of how the PUCS now is bad for wearing around in the sub itself, the dive suit changes really aren't even that bad. You can instantly equip and take off the suit, just carry it around on dry land until you need to swim, no need to wear it for more than a few seconds outside the water.
You know how they recently made the game easier? They HALVED the rate at which water can enter a submarine through any hull breach. It takes twice as long for pressure to build to high levels, so you don't need dive suits as often when repairing from enemy attacks. They also increased the air capacity of oxygen tanks by a lot, which makes it much easier to benefit from quality bonuses and Oxygenite tanks.
Yes, there are tons of weird bugs that can kill you for no reason and stupid AI behaviours, but that's why I play Solo. I just shrug it off, restart the round, and plan how to do things faster this time around. If part of the plan is "manually force the medic bot to never use Fentanyl" then so be it, I wouldn't trust my human teammates with medical stuff either. When you can switch between bots, the real limits of the crew is your skill as a player - I've piloted the sub, fired heavy weapons, and stabilised a bleeding out mechanic all at basically the same time in the Campaign.
Absolutely true. I went to the game with same feeling and itch and yes these updates made me make a negative review. The medic update "we made morphine a not cure all" yep you made a poison as bots go and overdose in moments. Also for that reason deusine is just no no since medic has no problem use it when morphine should be used. I got deusine at 70% health.... Also doors and ladders are for bots worse then a log on the road for adventurer.
As for the suits they addded as i would say god mod or cheat with church of the husk line of quests. As jesters they made them so uninteresting that i dont know single their quest just that you need to find mask...that i dont gonna do that why? No bonuses no perks. Husks have regeneration pressure resistance and more. Why the f.... would anybody do anything different then husks?.
So yea there is a lot more and the final boss the final mission. Yes first time playing a 3 hours because i apparently missed one log....perfect. Second time i found the log that was without A PING on sonar so yea no wonder i missed it.
And the new quests on outposts like jailbreak? When you need to get those people in sub but the second they get in then climb back up to get shot. Awesome as they making game unfun and adding quests that aren't possible to finish.
Yes single player is tedious now, PUCS was a good band aid for bots to be more efficient at anything cause they didnt had to run in cricles to find diving suits and now before you hire first med, other bots will try to commit sudoku with morphines. xd
Sudoku...
By the numbers, people.
Gene splicer, husk material, bodyarmour + ballistic helmets + boarding axes on your bots with active husk infection. No more suits, far fewer AI logic breakdowns.
morphine is pretty strong, but it's effectively a last resort. I straight up do not use it unless I have naloxene on hand. the other medical items cover injuries plenty well, including pomegrenade extract and tonic juice being Kinda Funny Tbh when it comes to just curing almost every common injury
