What mods would you guys need?
I am just looking for mod ideas that others would like. I am curious what ideas you have in mind that would likely be healthy/good as a mod. Don't think of what is hard or not hard to implement, I am just curious as to what you would like to see. Wheter quality of life or a complete overhaul of something.

Barocraftables, Dynamic Europa (is a bit harder but makes the campaign map far bigger and cooler though it may or may not be for you), Meaningful Upgrades, Scannable Wild Plants (I think it was called), ID Cards Enhanced and Choose Endocrine Boosters are some of the ones I like though there are certainly others I just cannot remember off the top of my head.

Also just generally recommend custom made ships from the workshop, there's some real treasures on there. If you want something balanced and vanilla esque I'd recommend NotWendy's submarines, tbh probably one of my favourite sub builders.
Favourites of her submarines would be the Otter and the Bereaver as they're very well balanced, decorated and creative.

As for mods I think are awesome but not vanilla esque I'd recommend Neurotrauma (extreme medical overhaul (IT IS HARD)), Barotraumatic (some find it hard some don't) and Robotrauma off the top of my head.

A mod to send from a list of special orders to ALL bots / human crew would be great, such as 'Suit up' for times when you know the sub is going to take on water (helps players / bots to not die from sudden pressure), fight intruders, fix leaks and repair, that sort of thing. Sometimes you just need literally every man on the pumps, so to speak, but there's no quick way of doing this at present.

EK armory for weapons, etc.

The rest is in the game already :|
just press shift + right click for most stuff or right click on the characters at top left corner.

As for player roles, it is sub dependent, like if you have a unique sub or make a unique one, you can basically set "priviliges" to certain items.

You guys know all of these are basically persent/already modded?

Well I'm clearly in the dark on this one then - care to share your knowledge on how I can tell all bots (in a single command/order) to wear a diving suit until I tell them otherwise? Or to give the same order such as 'fix leaks' to all bots at once? Thanks muchly!

I think expanding on what the game already offers is what most people using mods look for, even if there are already existing mods that do that and are very popular, like EK Armory that you mentioned. So yeah, even if it's already been done: more guns. :captainclown: More monsters and items also come to mind. Most of the mods that are very popular are either quality of life mods or expanding mods that just add more stuff to the game.

There are overhauls/total conversion which can be pretty time consuming for the creator but if you want to do something that stands out and is unique, I guess that's what I'd go for. Mods like the Dead Space mod can become quite popular on the workshop and sometimes allow new ways of playing the game. People can do entire campaigns on those type of mods.

Beyond that, you could make a mod that would add a completely new feature, but that would require high modding knowledge and also imagination ( I myself can't really think of what I'd do if I had to make a mod like that ).

Shipping/trucking overhaul. Currently transport subs are pointless after the first 2 biomes, it would be nice to see transport missions late game, as well as some tweaks to make it a little riskier to play as a trucker.
Also, it would be cool to see a subtle weapons mod for once. Love the ones that currently exist but they add so much that it just gets wildly complicated too fast. Also renders vanilla weapons worthless. It would be nice to get maybe 2-3 new weapons and a couple ammo variants thq5 and blend in with the base game.
Finally it'd be cool to see more dynamic bots. 1) more dialogue and 2) children npcs. It feels weird with just the abnormally quiet adults everywhere.

Having a dedicated key to equip the grenade launcher slung over my back as opposed to having to double click on it. There was a mod that did this but it mysteriously disappeared so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ahh alrighty my mistake lol. Really not sure though something I'd be interested in would be a standalone paramedic role. Not sure how many people would like such a job but I mean hey would be nice for Neurotrauma play throughs.

Other then that I personally just enjoy quality of life mods myself, I just main medic so I'm pretty contempt with the mods I've got but I'm sure you can figure out something.

Will let ya know if I come up with any other ideas lol.
Being able to have a Husk Crew would be neat for cultist runs.

Kind of like how the "Husk-Auto Control" Mods work, but without ever losing control in the first place. Just becoming hostile to non-husk creatures.

The problem with "Husk-Auto Control" is that the husked crew no longer count as crew once turned, they are just monsters you can control and go hostile once you switch character in single player. So the moment you go to a new location they vanish like any other enemy or npc.

id surely like to have some mods



first, theres the Mr Meesex Box from Rick&Morty(box could be placable), everytime the button on the box is pressed a Mr Meesex spawns, and he either asks you to give him a role,
which euqips him with either a wrench, a screwdriver, a welding tool, a baton or a syringe gun, or he spawns with a free inventoryslot and youd have to grab him and put the item in his hands.
at the end of the round, all mr meesesxeseses despawn

secondly, id like to have more funny things.
for example a throwable rubber duck, which makes funny noises on impact.
or crates with actual popping up jumping jacks if theyre to be touched.
then there is a crate much like the clowncrate, but you can be stored in shelves without popping out automatically.
id like a headgear which alters the voice in voicechat
a mod that enhances all heads, so everyone got a huge head, like in the old times with silly cheats

a welding drone in addition to the existing assault drone

and lastly i always liked the synching instruments in sea of thieves. theres four instruments for example, and if one starts to play, every other instrument starting after it and beeing in the same vicinity synchs with the song and plays along



i will come back if i can think of anything else.
thank you for putting in the energy to make this masterpiece of a game even better :)
