Mod to increase crew limit?
So I'm running a mod campaign and using a ship with...A LOT OF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GUNS.
Enough to where the game caps my crew out at (I think 15) crew members and I still have guns that are not manned. Anybody got a good mod to fix this?

Don't know any mods that can increase crew limit though I'm a bit more concerned what you need so many turrets for- :stimulation:

If you don't find your mod I've previously passed the limit with console spawning crew.

You could try the following: Go to your Barotrauma game folder in steamapps -> common, find the serversettings.xml file, make a backup save of it just in case and then look for "MaxPlayers" and replace the number next to it with the number that you want. There's also "MaxBotCount" that you could modify if you use bots, and the file contains other settings you'd like to modify later for other reasons. Save the file and launch the game, see if it works. If you experience issues, revert back to the backup file, or just delete the file in your folder - the game will create a new one when you launch next time, with default settings.

However the limit exists by default for good reasons. The more players you add, the more performances may be affected.

Now...I should mention I'm on singleplayer. Does that affect it? Or can I use the console spawn method?

Also for context on why there's a metric f***ton of guns, it's a workshop Sub modeled after Space Battleship Yamato.

I've never tried using the console commands to do it but seems worth a try.

It is much easier to edit the submarine in the editor and set the turrets to automatic mode.

I have Lua and console commands enabled, and it seemed to do the trick.
Granted when the full front side begins to fire it does make a small stutter in the frames, but it's nothing I can't live with.

Pretty sure there is a performance fix mod out there somewhere, you could look into it though if it doesn't bother you then you do you. I'd still personally give it a try though, better performance is better performance.

As someone who was up until recently playing games like FO4 on a potato Toshiba laptop that was falling apart at the seams, I'm satisfied if a game even runs at a solid 30fps now.
