Check if bots are in fighting mode (grey fistfight icon) and use dismiss command to clear it.
This is just one of those things in Barotrauma that begs the question: "how the hell did it make it past the earliest beta?!"
I just ended up modding in 30x oxygen time.
In my view it's either them choking on a way-point and freezing, or the A.I. is just so bad. I seriously hope they improve this soon.
Persistent characters make the campaign more fun, someway of saving and loading up favorite ones would also be a cool addition.
Just hopping in here to say that the issues with bots suffocating are known by the dev team and we are working on fixing them. I can't give an exact timeline on when a patch is coming yet, but we will have more information on it coming at the end of the week.
