Enemy faction outposts.
Moment that kinda rubbed me and my friends in a wrong way.
So we started new campaign together, decided to side with coalition and deal with other factions with extreme force. So in first biom we literally had all outposts for coalition except one science station, which was for separatists. We went there and just started fight in it.
Result: no one left alive on outpost, but we cant destroy reactor there, at all, and even with entire personel there dead its still counts as operational outpost.

Kinda wish there was option to destroy outpost, so it go abandonned, so later your faction can take it over.

Is it only me and my mates who felt this way?

Yeah the faction lore "implementation" was extremely rushed as it was basically the last update before 1.0, they just kinda decided to toss it in before full release almost like someone realized "Oh crap!" when looking over how bland faction dynamics were. Maybe there will be mods (more likely) or the developers themselves (less likely) implement better faction warfare mechanics like taking over a station for a specific faction.

I definitely wish there was a conquest mode or maybe even a way to form my own factions and use my own outpost designs. The game's setting is awesome and the world is decent. It can be expanded into so much more though. I hope the devs keep working on this.
That sounds nice, yeah. Conquest and own faction. But honestly i would be happy enough even if we can just destroy outposts. So they go abbandoned and then we reclear/re-esstablish them
