Personall wallet seems a bit pointless....
...if you can't sell or buy directly into or out of your personal inventory....

Well, at vending machines it works.

But ye, it's more for organisation, giving the medic a certain number of marks for medical supplies, etc.. Not for treason.
non hosts can sell items by changing a server setting. They are also able to buy stuff by default.
Pretty sure you can use your personal wallet to buy anything from anywhere as long as you have the cash of course.
It's better than anyone buying anything and better than only one person controlling the money. If you can think of a system that's better than those two and the current one, let us know.
It's primarily for big multiplayer groups. Last thing you want is one person spending the team's money on a upgrade only they wanted. I've found it also makes crew-members think a bit harder about where to spend money.

For small groups that trust each other, just use the submarine bank. Personal wallets are wiped on death - though yeah ideally you should never be dying, but there's also that feature that kills you when you DC. No loss to the bank though, so just withdraw credits as needed.
What's personal wallet? I don't see it as a talent
Vending machine go brrrrrr

Personal wallets are not talent or skill based. They are personal banks tied to individual players. The host can set a salary for you (% of money made per mission) and that money goes into your wallet. If you die, your money stays with your dead body and must be looted from it (just getting grabbed by a crewmate or you) or else it’s lost forever. It is redundant on small servers with good friends. Really no point in giving anyone a salary because that’s just asking for people to blow cash on stupid crap. I keep 74% of the cash as captain and use it to restock most of the stuff on the sub, while my medic gets 25% to stock medical supplies. I give 1% to my security buddy as a joke.
it would be nice if you got your own money more often and there was more items for you to buy that would go to your personal inventory, because so often the captain will refuse to buy certain items you need and people will often steal stuff. like we either are low on basic meds or the medic has it all locked up, i just want to buy bandages opium and saline straight to my inventory, also items like steel would be nice
