fps drops in later biomes

is there a way to fix this?
my hardware doesnt seem to be struggling the game fps just drops

same here since i reached The Aphotic Plateau my game constantly has minor stuttering

If you experienced it while someone shooting (chaingun often) you can try to lower max particles (settings)

for me its permanent since i entered the next biome doesnt matter whats happening

So try to lower particles, they basically always shown at background. May be a little bit but changed fps.

And if you have A LOT of ammo boxes, flower pots e.t. It cause low fps too...

both of it seems useless turned off mods lowered all settings to lowest possible including resolution it totally seems to be a game related issue maybe even corrupted data

generally these settings-insensitive performance losses in games like this are for two reasons: insufficient CPU for the simulation or (if you are getting lots of 'hitching') having to load stuff from disk constantly, often from a lack of memory.

Reduce the amount of items inside your sub. Your CPU simply cant handle huge computation per seconds.

Try performance fix. Reduce particle amount, try a different submarine (preferably one of the vanilla ones) reduce the total amount of items kept in your submarine, this includes the items on the floor and inside storage.

its not the CPU,s fault its simply the problem that this game has no multithreading and only uses 1 core XD also my CPU is barely being used....

have no items on the floor but wtf items that are stored in crates etc can cause that? wow thats pretty uh sad ngl XD

It still the same, that one core cant handle ever increasing computation as it bloat over time. your only solution is to reduce it load. Reduce the number of item inside your sub.

You should try ship editor and start adding items inside tested ship and find at which level your cpu start to slowdown.
