Can you make bots take off PUCS on their own?
I've noticed that because of PUCS' ability to use the hull oxygen instead of oxygen tanks, bots keep wearing it even if there isn't a need for that anymore. It's not as bad in singleplayer as I can just take control of them and just make them drop it off at the suit lockers, but in multiplayer I'd have to go up to the bot, manually take off their suit and then move it into the suit locker. In both cases, it's annoying given that I pretty much always have more crewmates than diving suits and the last thing I need is having my mechanic drown/get crushed by pressure while trying to fix the leaks just because all suits are taken up by crewmates who needed them for, like, one second.

You want them to keep wearing it. Very useful so they don't have to scramble for a suit when there's a serious breach. Just keep some O2 tanks on them and cycle through them once in a while.

Well, I just remembered that you can have diving suits just laying on the ground and not in suit lockers. But still, does anybody have an answer to my question?

You can tell them not to touch those suit.

In my solo campaign everyone wears PUCS all of the time, all suit lockers are filled with Abyss Suits (salvaged from a Coalition sub I 'decomissioned'), apart from a Slip Suit which I reserve for EVA combat missions.

Yeah, I thought about that, but that would completly disallow them to wear it, which isn't what I want. I'm asking if there's a way to make them drop it after they stop needing it. If there isn't one, then I guess I'll have to just deal with it.

Well, this sounds like a good idea if nothing else works. I'll just have to check if I have enough Physicorium laying around to make the suits for the entire crew.

A couple of mining trips down to the Abyss and you should have all the Physicorium you'll need... once you deal with those pesky abyss monsters. So long as your crew / bots are sensible, it's usually just a fight of attrition, make sure you have plenty of ammo and fuel, you should be fine.

Make more dive suits.

Alright, it's a solution, I guess.

Personally I consider this a bug. While I do see the charm of them keeping it on while on the sub, it's straight out annoying when they wear it while docked
