Do not mistake the F-word for a wiki.

Saline or bloodpacks to heal bloodloss. Bandages or plastiseal to heal bleeding and burns. Opiates for "everything else". Congratulations, you're now a medic.

If somebody puts on a clown-suit, use a revolver or handcannon. :captainsinful:

Grind for some cash by doing easier missions to afford a better submarine or better equipment before taking on harder missions. (But maybe thats just me)

The big black spiky ball may seem passive but it is not your friend. Shoot it in its big red eye. Also, if anyone, especially bots, start complaining about a sore throat or a fever in chat treat them with Broad Spectrum Antibiotics or Calyxanide immediately. Or don’t, and see what happens.

First of all, play with friends, or, if you don't have any who want to play Baro with you, make friends with Baro players. Multiplayer experience is just so much better than single.
Tips on staying alive: Always keep a wrench, a screwdriver, a welder, a diving mask and preferably a reliable weapon in your inventory. If hull is breached and you don't see it gonna be repaired any time soon, go grab a diving suit along with 3+ oxygen tanks immediately. Don't panic if the submarine has completely sunk and your crew are all dead; as long as you are alive in a diving suit with sufficient oxygen, the game is not over. Carefully take care of intruders, repair the hull, then the reactor and junction boxes to activate water pumps, and you'll find your sub back alive and ready in no time.
Once you got a hold of staying alive, you'll figure out everything else by yourself soon enough. Check the wiki for detailed info of stuff. Enjoy the game!

The common overengineered custom sub makes the game deadly boring quickly.
Ships need interesting flaws for engaging gameplay.

You monster. You didn’t remind him to carry magnesium as well!
In all seriousness, to the OP, keep in mind baro borrows IRL physical and chemical laws… so if a chemical is water-reactive in real life, maybe think twice about diving with it on your person…
