handcuffs suck and can softlock you
bruh so in singleplayer i hit a clown with an axe on an outpost with like fine handcuff me, the problem is i am playing with one character so after i got handcuffed i am pretty much softlocked and when i started a mission the cuffs stayed on. Anyone knows some mods where you break out of cuffs?

Other than console cheat commands (which I don't know in terms of handcuff removal), buy an Assistant then when you undock you can switch to them. I suspect that you're a bit stuffed if you're alone in the sub and can't even operate the nav console to dock, maybe there's a console command to force the sub to be docked? Just clutching at straws here.

Also, dont put your ID card in a container that requires that ID card :emofdr:

Huh, I always assumed that like the prisoners in game and like the SS13 version that inspired the mechanic that you could remove them slowly.

This is an oddity and another example of MP mechanics negatively affecting singleplayer, albeit in a very niche circumstance.

Murdered your crew and attacked a guard.

Cuffs seem fitting lol.

Cuffs are always fun on the bun. I remember a run with a friend where he accidentally shot me while we were fighting a mudraptor, and instead of reviving me, the medic AI arrested my friend, letting me die and the sub to remain uncorrected until it ran into the side of the sea wall, killing us. Thanks, medic.

Medic is great! I had a run recently (solo) where I was transporting prisoners who broke out and security beat and cuffed them and dumped them in their cell, In goes medic and instead of treating them he just starts hitting them with a baton.

Kept on hitting them untill they were all dead. Then went back to work.

Thanks medic!

That medic saw too many things on his previous trip out...

If you can spawn a npc on your crew maybe you can controll It and remove the handcuffs
This community when getting griefed online:
"Oh god this is literally unplayable and I am actually traumatized! These griefers are antisocial asshats. What a bunch of dumb children who ruin your campaign."

This community when getting griefed by the game in singleplayer:
"Heyyy, check out the following solutions. Here's a mod. Try hiring an NPC to get you out of this bind. Hey check out my fun story of where the game caused the campaign to get wrecked and I kept on playing the game!"

This unhinged trend is something I have observed through various threads now.
My money remains in my pocket.

Eh. If a games being developed for multiplayer it tends to get less focus on fixing single player issues.

It’s a pretty good example of qol mods made by the community, for them.

And “griefed in singleplayer”? No.

A bug in behavioural software is in no way like someone joining solely for the purpose of ruining it.

You do you, I guess.

In my experience, the medics are usually the ones you gotta watch out for. Not the security gaurds or even a maniacal captain. The medic can kill a man however he wants, whenever he wants. And whoever he wants gets it.
