Naming ship rooms.
Is there a way to name parts of your ship? I get Lost quite easily inside my on submarine, specially If i haven't played with that particular one yet.

I've watched some gameplay and the Guy had little signs naming every part of his ship, do i need some mod to do that?

You can click on the "hull" zones in the editor and rename them, that will have the name show up when hovered in the status monitor, as well as have NPCs and characters use the hull names when calling out issues.

As for creating signs, you can do that in the editor. There are at least three ways. One is using the decorator icons and arrows to add graphical signposts at intersections and whatnot. Another is using one of the Sign objects plus a Label object on top to add the text. Third is using individual letter graphics to spell out words, though that's tedious.

But yes, the sub author (or you) should also do what Knee_Grow says and name the rooms themselves by selecting their hulls in the editor and setting the name.

I feel like this should be done by default. Specially since New players Will have no Idea what is where inside the sub. Oh well.

Some of the larger subs, like the Remora and Berilia, have signposts and arrows pointing you to the different rooms, but I agree that it should be more common than it is.

in decorations theres a bunch of labels. tho EK dockyard gives more labels like that. the only issue with custom names i think is translation wont apply.

You can also add text displays to the wall and use a memory component to add the name of the room. This can be done in-game without the editor, if you want to have this in a ongoing campaign.
