"Combat" Diving suit
Am i not understanding something? Considering the cost both material and level wise of a combat diving suit, and the name of it, I would have thought the COMBAT diving suit had more resistance against...combat oriented things than a normal dive suit. Not less.

The normal Diving suit has -35% to blunt, gunshot, bite, and laceration,
but the "combat" diving suit has -30% to all those, and then same for everything else.
So it's just faster to move in? That's cool and all but "Combat" ready it is NOT.

And then the abyss diving suit has -45% to the aforementioned stats, but takes...less...materials to upgrade.
This needs to be balanced, it's kind of silly.

I would say that when it comes to actual fighting that dodging damage is always going to be better than resisting some damage. Mobility is op. With the combat diving suit you may move at a decent speed awhile still shooting. Or run away and make it back to safety with 3 limbs instead of 2. You can get out of dodge 15% faster or take 5% less damage. And that isn't total damage. Humans have some innate damage resistances. So that 5% damage resistance might actually be closer to 2% more damage resistance. And that is a rounding error.

Damage resistance vs Mobility value aside, it doesn't make sense that the abyssal and combat suit use the SAME exact ingredients *EXCEPT* that the Combat one has Ballistic Fiber....the addition of ballistic fiber implies some sort of extra protection.

With that logic, the Slipsuit would be better than all of them.
While I agree that in Baro mobility is a key factor, I personally like the Abyss suit the best. Yes, it's so bulky and massive, but it's extremely hard to die while in it.
It's a marketing scam by the dastardly coalition to sell shoddy equipment to their poor conscripts.

Then they should be fixed...

As indirectly brought up before, a more appropriate name for the Combat Suit would be in fact Mobility Suit.

This must have been named this way because in theory, wielding weaponry (either melee or ranged) with a stubby, heavy suit is sub-optimal for combat scenarios. But in videogame practice where all suits kinda handle the same, it's not that great of a name (took me a hundred hours before I realized it's in fact less armored than other suits).
