Missions in single player issues

I've played about 10 hours in the single player and have only gotten terminate swarms, kill molochs or hammer heads, transport missions, and taxi missions. No outpost missions, alien ruins missions, or pirate missions. Is there some setting I am not seeing? I've played them in multiplayer, but can't find them now.

Just mostly rng based, and to some degree, maybe seed luck based? Abandon outpost will vary based on seed. Most starts at the 3rd biome, but i've had a seed where there was hunting ground on the 2nd biome which also caused abandon outposts. I've also had one seed where even when I save and load to get more missions, I never got a single pirate mission even well into the 2nd biome.

had the same think, u will get them later just go to 2nd or 3th biomes

yeah the first biome has limited missions. Though I have gotten outpost missions on first biome, I have never gotten ruin missions.

Last update killed the variety in the early areas.

You start getting more variety in the 2nd biome. Keep in mind that in solo play those become more tedious and dangerous since you have to be very careful. You'll be running extra-vehicular ops like Alien Ruins by yourself. You could try to take an AI with you but I found their pathing to be broken outside the submarine, and it extended the mission time longer than it needed to be since I had to keep switching back and forth between crew members outside the sub to get anywhere.
