You might get bored of the missions real quick tho.
That said, I don't think it's currently worth full price if singleplayer is your thing. While I'm still having fun three days later, the repetitive missions will eventually become pretty dull I'm sure. That said, the devs are planning to add a lot more to campaign mode in the future so that should help.
Until you get a hold of how to play the whole game and every role and how to complete every mission consistently, it's going to take you at least 30 hours without reading guides. You'll need snap decision making and that takes a while to develop even with guides (you *will* lose). Then the campaign itself is at least 6-10 hours even if you know what to do.
Ofc you can stray off the direct route when youre playing without radiation, but this gives you a good estimation of the min time involved?!
And then, when you reached the end you can start the same map with all your stuff and +25 difficulty on each route! (per time you finished the campaign)
In general replayability of BT is decent.
You can swap between all of the bots on your team in singleplayer so you'll be able to (with a bit of busywork) acquire all the powers each role's Talents have to offer, which is a plus I suppose. Can't vouch for the bots ability to accompany you on missions outside of the sub though, I think you can order them to follow you and they're smart enough to put on a Diving Suit if you are wearing one as well, but no clue how good they are at salvage and exploration operations. I've always used them as a background element and nothing else.
You'll be doing everything yourself, which can definitely drain your sanity after a while, and is why I gave up my singleplayer run early, since I had been spoiled by multiplayer, which in my opinion I think is where the game thoroughly excels.
But yeah, Barotrauma is playable in solo, but it's not going to be giving you its best.
