Grime, Vomit, and Blood Come back
Anyone else having the issue that when they clean up the grime, vomit, or blood stains on their ship that it comes back after you load? Each time I have a stain of any kind and spay it to clean it off the ship the next time we dock/undock with a station it will be right back where it was. I looked and the delay for stains to clean themselves is extremely long (100,000+sec) and the only way to clean them sooner is to go into the editor and copy/paste the offending hull in the same spot. The stains are linked to hulls and I can't figure out how to remove them for good.

I have experienced the same issue. But it never bothered me enough to investigate any further.

You can use my tip and remove them with this save game editor from your submarine:
https://ignis05.github.io/baro-save-editor/

It does clean your whole ship for good.

I really did not want to be bothered the one time when the whole submarine was under water for so long, that EVERY nook & cranny of it needed cleaning...

It seems to be random, sometimes cleaning is just temporary, other times it works first time and stays clean.

When it comes back, just tap it with a spray gun dead center. It should disappear and not come back. For whatever spaghetti-O reason holding the spray gun seems to make the stains more prone to re-appearing

You're not alone, it happens in my game all the time. I've just gotten used to it at this point though.

Yeah I wish it was permanent, but it likes to come back a lot. It's a nasty prank that my friends tend to play on me, hitting me with ethanol or something to make me puke, covering the bridge in puke which I'm then stuck with for the rest of the campaign, or at least until the game decides that my cleaning efforts on a specific round were actually acceptable and / or whatever god of filth that watches over us decided to not pay attention for a second or so.

If cleaning worked, I'd want cleaning foam grenades in order to mass clean rooms properly because the Sprayer is kinda annoying to use, going grid by grid instead of just spraying over a large area etc.

Its in the folder for particles in the main data folder. If you really want I can try and dig it up again but you can't edit the file. It crashes the game unfortunately.

Grime appear over time when there was water and since its grid based cleaned while this cover the entire wall section its pointless to try to clean that , for the rest you can clean it by spamming "quickshots" on it with the sprayer
