Moloch broken?

A certain Moloch is literally one-shotting the right upper Structure of my Orca 2 and kills 1-2 crewmembers in the process. And that´s all with the first ramming attack and nothing else. The Sub was fully repaired and has 6/10 Hull upgrades. The Moloch is a regular non-Boss one.
I´ve tried it 4 times so far and it´s always the same outcome.
Is that really intended or did they break something with the last Patch?
I remember my very first fight with a Moloch in a Dugong with less Hull Upgrades and it just damaged the hull and shook us around a little. (That was before the Holiday Patch)

From the wiki I read that the Moloch is unique in a way because it doesn´t directly deal damage but funtions more like a Giant Rock that flys at you. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Might be. So far me and my crew have had no issues with Molochs. Whether normal or black ones. They are working as intended.

But if you ram into one... I do not know who has the thicker head. Whether the moloch or your submarine.

Not sure about the Orca2 - but the Orca had some weak spots in that regards.

I wouldn´t even question if they worked as intended if my first Encounter wouldn´t have been so tame compared to now :D
In my 3 subsequent engagements I actively drove away from it (because I´m pretty sure if you charge into it with full speed that should actually rip your sub open) but it didn´t make any difference from my first try where I actually charged into it (although at very slow speed)
