Not quite a "moon pool", but the cargo bay with the pseudo open area is a nice design trick which might be helpful for yours. At least that is what I would consider coming close to the idea of having a "moon pool".
What do you think? Is that of any use to you?
There's an ingame trick that will spit out a number for you (ctrl-click) all your ballast hulls)
But it's not accurate enough to be more than a guideline.
What I do is I'll just trial and error in the editor testing grounds until the subs at neutral buoyancy (+/- 1-2 m/s)
