shoot them dead/knocked down cuff then keep them on CPR or revive who cares
by doing this you get
an dead body an half dead person
that is easy to tranport
easy to beat
easy to eat
and more
(btw if your trolling/butt stunning sec then using their own cuffs is very easy has you don't have to move the cuffs as they allready have them)
That's code for "ask", and if that fails beat them senselessly; until they can't move by themselves anymore. Hitting characters with blunt objects won't make them bleed; once their HP is below 0 they'll have another HP bar until they die; it will go down very slowly.
Most security personnel have decent medical skill and can revive people pretty easily once they're in place. A bit of opium should get them back up if you want to hear them scream like a banshee again.
Shooting causes bleeding and that's really annoying to treat; you'll waste both bullets and resources so they don't die.
Stun/cuff is always better because they can't respawn, so they'll just have to enjoy their time in the ballast or exit the server. Just feed them some oxygen every now and then.
uhg I guess that's why by the book pays so well. It would be a huge pain in the ass dragging a bot back to the ship and having to beat the crap out of them every few seconds.
Bring them from and back to unconsciousness when need be (moving up and down ladders). In theory you can just do this with a diving mask without the oxygen, but I think they'll die faster and they'll always be at full strength if the cuffs come off. Could just combine both I guess.
Bots have a weird way of responding to this behavior (they either violently protect or violently join in killing the prisoner) so if you're playing on singleplayer it's not worth it. I was speaking about my experience for multiplayer.
