Why is this game flooded with Russians?

Well the topic says it all. Been trying to play after a long hiatus but for gods sake i cant find any proper server. Most of the servers are russian and the few servers i've joined they dont seem to be kind to europeans. I'd like to see Server filters, to filter out the pesky Russian servers.

True, here in poland I can't ever find a normal server that are moded, only ones I find most of the time are from russia.

It's a joke. The players on these servers are not very friendly because it is usually played by schoolchildren who cannot communicate with you and behave like monkeys. They are just as annoying for us, but at least in a conversation we can understand who to shoot and who to throw overboard =)

Question to all - would you play on Russian servers if someone made a guide with the translation of the main Russian words with voice acting? This proposal has already been received, and there is one player who agreed to do this, but I think he needs more motivation from you

Here's my logic - English is the ubiquitous common language used between people of different native tongues, I understand that some want to use their own language and that's fine but they do so at the risk of narrowing their potential player base. Anyone who wishes to play with as broad a player base as possible (inclusivity) probably will speak in English for the majority of the time. If the host can't or won't speak English then basically I'm not interested as like you say, it's likely going to be annoying kids or possibly elitist or nationalistic people who don't care for having other nationalities play in their server. I've tried joining some of the very non-English servers on occasion and there was little or no effort made to accommodate me, I might as well have been playing solo, I also got the distinct feeling that I wasn't welcome.

not everyone speaks english
everyone on the server has to have a common language or else it's much harder to play
you cant join a foreign server and expect them to speak english just because of one guy

It's not about the language, it's about the attitude. I honestly dont care where you are from and what language you frequent but i expect ppl not to curse at everyone. They are showing a generally racist attitude. Thats the problem.

then the only reasonable advice is to grow thicker skin or stop using the internet

Funny thing is it's been your server i've been on. Your are even friends with the guy that insulted me with racism, Ultraleonidas, hence i dont wonder mutch about your statement. On your profile you have a lengthy text about racism and so on and now you act like racism isnt a big deal. You kinda sound like a hypocrit.
