Make signal erase message on text display?
So far I only see overwriting as an option since text display have no set state to just tun it on or off, but null value or a blanck space doesn't erase the message

you could try to send " " (spacebar signal)

tried, count as null value wich is ignored

What about "_"?

For me the single spacebar signal works I made it like this:
SC - M - TD
Signal Check:
-Output: WhateverYouWantHere
-False output: single spacebar
-Target signal: AlsoWhateverYouWant

to Memory component (Empty)
-signal in from SC
-signal out to Text Display

There's probably a way to make it better but i'm lazy and not gonna try

I tried single space bar but it always count as null value and therefore doesn't ovewrite anything, anything else work

Would you mind posting a picture of your setup here or uploading it to the workshop as not public ?

The signal check is the one wich decide what's displayed

It seems fine tbh, I see you're using a mod, EK Armory i presume it shouldn't interfere with the logic components but try the same setup without mods.
I made a very short version which was basically Switch sending out either 1/0 -> signal check -> memory -> text display
here's the screenshot if what my working thing looks like: https://paste.pics/C5X0L
I pressed spacebar once in the false signal frame, altho I AM playing on BETA so it might work for me but not for you

If you don't mind sharing the sub go for it, otherwise Copy the circut and place it on an empty map, save it as a test and publish.

For whatever reason your circuit can be made to work as you wish in unstable version of the game but not in the branch available to everyone. Guess they made some changes to logic in beta branch. So the best I can recommend is putting some barely visible thing in there like:
.
'
,
`
or a message that says something along the lines of "everything's fine and dandy"
