What happened to the stun gun?
It only stuns people for like 0.3 seconds now.

After hit, stun gun will have victim stunned after 10 seconds. This is for balance

Stun was changed at some point. If I am not mistaken, the stun gun should still slow for longer than that, and hitting again while slowed should lead to a longer stun.

I'm talking about the time they actually remain stunned for

I tried firing two darts as well and it didn't seem to make a difference. The person just springs up again after a split second like it's nothing.

It wasn't like this before the update.

you're lacking context. who were you shooting specifically?

Just tested in sub-editor.
Stun gun, two shots vs engineer (hazmat suit).

No stun at first, but heavily slowed, and temporarily stunned shortly after. Seems like stun darts aren't inflicting normal stun at all (or that's not their purpose at least).

I tried it in sub editor on dugong on my hazmat engineer. It took a bit after 2 shots, but he did stayed down for like 6 seconds.

The way stun works was changed to account for OP tactics, and griefing. If you want faster stun you'll need stun grenades (40mm or thrown), or fulgurium stun darts.

I tested it on both body armor and the captain's jacket, but they seemed to have the same results.

Fair enough. Stun baton still works for the same amount of time anyway.

How powerful is the Fulgurium Stun dart?

Appears to inflict 6 stun (presumably 6s). But no progressive stun.
