around 6+ planters will give you so much material you won't know what to do with it. i cooperated with my captain to have 6 tobacco planters to make tobacco and he made cigars out of it for a profit of about 1,600 - 2,000 marks per run when we sold said cigars.
if ur plants are dying in a short period of time you probably had a breach in that section (salty water isn't good for plants and rapidly depletes it's water level so you have to water them after every breach event in the same room ).
woudn't want to do this anyway at some point you legit start to drain the outpost power so much you are forced to use your own power
