Fire Extinguisher Placement

How can I attach the fire extinguisher to the fire extinguisher bracket in submarine editor.

Hover the bracket with the mouse and press E to open its inventory. Place the fire extinguisher there.

Also, shift + place should place things inside containers.

So I filled up a crate with supplies but it won't let me place the crate on the shelf I can only place empty ones.

With crates and other things that can store objects you need to fill object and then you need to save it as assembly.

but then still how do I place the crate into the shlef ? If I put the crate in first it doesn't let me fill it with items whilst on a shlef.

After you save it in assembly, it will show in section with assemblys, item assemblys can be place in containers.

You can put an empty crate into the shelf with the shelf inventory open then you can add items to the crate while in the shelf inventory, you just cant open the crate.
I even lists whats in the crate.
