You can't search ragdolled players anymore?

Why? It was a good feature, it allowed for so many interesting situations to come up. Searching was a genuinely useful utility that made sense.

Probably as an anti-grief but also makes it so you can`t search them.

I havn`t tested in-game myself, so I`m just assuming this isn`t a bait troll thread.

This is a bug, most likely desync related as I believe sometimes you can do it but sometimes you can't. Can't confirm when its going to be fixed but its on our radar.

I can't carry someone who is carrying an artifact while ragdolling too. It's like a huge part of the game is gone to waste. Please fix.

It happens in sub testing mode when I use the "ragdoll" command on a bot, that would point me towards believing that it is not desync related.

Thanks for the extra info, this will help with figuring out what is exactly going on

Update: I was able to reproduce it successfully with these steps, this should be an easy fix now.

While they are working on fixing this, you can bring hyperzine or meth with you and use it after you pick up the artifact. It will allow you to swim almost as fast as a person using a scooter.

So far you can never access ragdolled players. No grab action.

Is the same applied to all lootable non-crew inventory? I haven't found any alien loot when I grab them, nor can I interact with my pets inventory either when picked up. My crew were able to get into my inventory and rescue me during the campaign so that seems to work, but it's mainly NPC's thats broke.

this is still a big issue where you cannot grab players during scuba diving while they carry an object, its a major issue in the game that needs to be fixed and updated almost now I feel, if they know how to fix it.

Its fixed in the next patch. Probably the next few days.
