How do i clean the walls of my sub?

Hello all, the walls on my sub are covered in blood & vomit. And since i had a fire on the reactor, the entire wall on the reactor room lost its normal metal appearance and now has a scorched look.

Some of the blood splatters do seem to go away, others remain, but the vomit & scorched room remain the same. Even after several missions, and a couple of "Repair all walls" services from the sub upgrades guys on outposts.

So, how im i supposed to clean the walls, and restore the wall on the reactor room? will it happen by itself eventually, or is there something i have to do?

you can use a Sprayer with Ethanol in it

I think it does happen by itself eventually. At least I remember splatter from fruits going away, but that took more than "several" missions. Maybe it only remembers decals from the last n missions?

Anyway. Yes, sprayer with ethanol. Cleaning blood and stuff is quite fast, but cleaning an airlock or ballast tank can take quite a while.

Hi, for "several" missions, i mean like 5 maybe 7.
So thats what ethanol in sprayers is for! hehe Thanks, i dint know that.

I will get started on getting rid of that barf & blood allover the sub.

As for the charred walls on the reactor room, im guessing ethanol wont work? i would have tought that when i pay the "Repair all walls" fee, it would include the inside walls too.
Maybe i should place a bug report on this issue?

Charred walls from fire, and even from explosions, are decals, and ethanol works on them. There is no actual damage involved there.

Though being able to pay outposts to clean your sub would indeed be nice.
