When there's an "X" over a crew order it has been canceled, it just sits there as a recent order so you can easily click it again if you need them to go back to that activity. If you really want the order icon to vanish I think you need to give them three orders to push the oldest order off the list.
In a desperate situation inside a ship, a grenade can also do the job. Open door, throw grenade, wait for the detonation, open the door and the room decoration is done. Last time I tried, a single grenade can kill a 100% healthy mudraptor.
If you encounter a mudraptor nest... Shotgun seems to work relatively well even underwater. But it's a risky thing to do when you're alone.
I did recently notice that the glowsticks seem to attract the attention of the threshers. I threw one in a cave the other day and three of them swam right to it, almost ignoring me until I began shooting at them with a harpoon gun. I would assume the same can be done with mudraptors, but I haven't tried yet.
If there's more than one? Use explosives and hope for the best, I guess.
Next were the harpoon gun with physicorium harpoons, then harpoon gun with regular harpoons.
After that, there was only the very, very pitiful rest of the weaponry, which are so stupid inefficient that I never again used them, once I found out how much they underperformed..
PS: Don't believe me. Try it out yourself, start a random game and try to kill a random bot with each weapon and you'll see yourself...
I watched my friend use a syringe gun to shoot one into a mudraptor, it's health bar dropped from 100% to 0% in about 3-4 seconds? I don't know if the effects have been changed since then but I don't remember seeing any changes to it in patch notes.
Yep, part of why I can remember it so well was how impressed I was that he managed to hit the raptor with the only dose we had. Have you seen one dose take longer to kill one?
I do, however, remember it taking longer. But I'm not going to bet any money on that.
Stun and Knife works good for 1v1
