Pay for player crewmates?

I know it's on the road map but in the meantime is there any way to do this with mods? I feel like my crew would have more fun if they had their own money to spend on their own loadouts and supplies! I've bought so many copies of this game for my friends and I really feel like giving them the option to shop would enhance the in-between mission interactions!

I think Mark Currency Mod is the closest thing to this right now.

you can give certain people different server permissions in the server settings, including ability to shop, start missions, use commands or admin access. you can't have individual currency without mods but i prefer it until they add something official

ITA is fairly good about this, but the shopping options are rather limited
