Mods to enhance singe-player experience?
I've seen a lot of people talking about outpost packs, certain submarines, and other mods they swear by and don't play single-player without. What ones would you recommend before I jump into my next campaign?

Into the Abyss is a really cool total overhaul. It will change enough to offer a fresh experience all by itself.

-Sounds of Europa
-Into the Abyss
-Shipwrecks Extended
- Beacon Stations Extended (?) Not sure of the exact name at the moment, but it basically adds completely overhauled Beacon Stations

Not sure abt Into the Abyss, it's overhaul mod that will alter experience rather than "enhance" it. It is decent, but might be not what one needs

Not in SP. Too tough to handle, and most missions cant be done solo and/or with bots.
should be standard for MP though.

so for single player with the last update of reactors ive had the bots dropping the Spent rods right there next to the reactor per usual.. which with the new rod tongs handling of rods ment to be put outside by players... makes fire right there and by the time player gets there he cant pick it up... fires huge... put it out for it to start again... to much fire to solve

Bots always putting diving suits away after using them would make SP playable. I probably have to play with a larger sub and use bots and give them less orders, but ideally, bots would always properly put diving suits away.

For me the fire that is a #$%@#$% to deal with and kills NPC's and players alike is game breaking not just an inconvenience. An Item not being "put away", but sure that could bother me enough to stop playing... @#$@@# kids in real life wont put their shoes away when they come in... @#$@ damn it.... and now the bots in my game are leaving a mess too?!?! thats it, i cant do this, ^$%$ it... LOL Just kidding ya man its annoying for sure... i couldn't help myself no mocking intended to you i apologize.

I would love if bots remember where they took their diving suits from and put them back but even players fail to do this.
I'd also like in multiplayer for people to drop stuff if they leave, replacing stuff constantly is expensive when people drop in and out.

The problem is the bots make the diving suits end up on the bottom of the ocean floor in some subs with trash chutes or after a bottom hull breach. A sub without diving suits is a little bit more than mildly inconvenienced, especially the small ones that flood in one breach. That's the problem with suits and bots.

With human players they "misplace" all of the fire extinguishers and there is your fire problem suddenly being worse, but all bots are stupid with suits, not the same for human players.

The biggest thing to pick up for solo play is a good submarine. Something well armed with 360 degree coverage on its guns is a must, because the ship has to be able to look after itself while you're away.

The Reliant MkVI is a firm favourite of mine. Four coilguns for all round coverage and two railguns for when I need to deal with something personally. It's at about what I'd consider the upper limit of size for a soloable sub, so it has plenty of storage space without being so large it's a chore to move around.
