There is a wreck that has a weird platform extending from a door to the outside on the bottom right. At the end of the platform is a lone cabinet, usually the logbook is in there if that is the wreck you are going through. As jacket said, you can use the handheld sonar to get a better idea of the exact location of the log book.
The secure cabinet on the nameless "Wreck1" should still be possible to open with the wreck captain or security ID, while the ID hidden in the marked vent is an extra. However, there are only three spawn points for human corpses in that "Wreck1", so the extra ID can often be the fastest way to grab the sec cab.
The wrecked toxin cabinet on Kastrull doesn't seem to have ID restriction, and none of the other wrecks seem to have toxic cabinets or other secure containers.
