I'd also like to know. I haven't been able to figure it out.

Only way i can do it is deleting ALL associated components which is stupidly annoying. Before, you could just select any given wire(s) and press delete.

That is quite inconvenient. Hopefully they introduce a more user friendly way.

You can just drag the wire in the wiring menu out of the box and it'll get deleted.

And what if that box is an electrical component with say, 30 wires attached to it inside a wall?.. Times 5?

Then you need to remove them, one by one.

While in the older version of the game you could just select wires and delete them. Nice.

Press "E" on item that connected to wire, drag this wire and drop anywhere, or to inventory.

Right - everybody is saying how to remove wires. That's not what OP is talking about. Removing wires from a hard-built motion detector NOT/OR equation or SSG signal that you have to plasma cut out is extremely annoying.

Response from the official Discord server:

"oh, but what you can do is double click one of the ends (with the yellow hanging "inner" copper wire) so it gets selected."

"From there you can either select a new wire (replacing the current wire), or wire it up to something (so you can figure out where the other connection is)"

If everything is fixed for you, then please put this message as an answer to your question.
