Where do purchased items go?

I bought a diving knife and some reactor fuel, but I can't find it anywhere on my ship, where does it all go?

Usually in a loose chest somewhere near your engineering/mechanical area in the ship

Check the floor for a red or grey box (the ones u can stack on shelves)

Items and crew you purchase/hire do not spawn until you leave the port you are in. The items you purchased will spawn in a metal chest somewhere in the sub, usually the storage / cargo area (the same place chests carrying cargo for a delivery mission will spawn).

The game tells you this when you purchase your items, do you not read any of the infoboxes that pop up?

Easy way is go to editor and find your submarine ,and then go to toggle visibility(the eye icon) and tick the spawn and then find the box icon around you submarine ,if you find the box icon ,the room the box icon with will spawn the metal crate with the stuff you buy from shop.
Don't try to save in editor if you not want to mess up the vallina submarine..

If you have bots then they might have tidied the items away in appropriately tagged storage containers such as the medical cabinet etc.
